Online reservations are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Reservations can be made up to seven months in advance on the first day of the month beginning at 8:00 a.m. PST via this website.  Due to seasonal volume, access to the Reserve America™ website may at times be limited.

You may secure camping reservations as late as 2 days prior to your planned arrival, subject to availability. Website inventory for the "on-sale" dates are available at 8:00 a.m. the same time the inventory is made available over the telephone. After that time the data is available for reservations 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Ask your reservation agent for details about other California State Parks policies.

When making your camping reservation for Leo Carrillo State Park you will be issued a non specific site reservation. This means that you cannot reserve a specific campsite in advance of your arrival. Leo Carrillo State Park is a first come first served campground. Leo Carrillo State Park does offer 1 group developed tent only campsite area accommodating up to 50 people that can be reserved in advance.
